From North to South these are the legs and distances:
Croft – 12.6
Glenn Springs – 7
Blackstock - 4
Lynch's Wood – 3
Croft and Glenn Springs are contiguous. We will have to drive to Blackstock and then again to Lynch's Woods. Camp sites available at Croft, Blackstock, and Lynch's woods. We will need to have bright orange on us because of hunting season.
Next hike 14-15 NOV.
Gents we have a date. Please vote on hike (right side of blog) and post a comment below if you are going to be available to go.

My lessons learned from Swamp Fox
1. Neither Harpoon IPA or Blue Moon should be used as hiking fuel the night prior
2. Ham biscuits should be carried (it is a long way back to the truck)
3. You can ruin a boar's nose
4. The Francis Marion National Forest "is overrun with bears and panthers"
5. Bag checks may be conducted at random to verify accuracy of statements
6. After a 22 mile hike, 12 hour old ham biscuits left on the dashboard of a truck, are better than they would have been if eaten when fresh
7. The pack mule concept is one of the better ideas to come out of this trip
8. A particular Berkley County Sheriff's Deputy doesn't like hikers
9. 3 hikers can wake up, get out of their sleeping bags and in to a truck before the end of a thunder clap
10. The Waffle House in Moncks Corner served the best meal I've had in 2009
11. Lightening and hail are unfavorable conditions for hiking
12. Occasionally Clemson graduates make something of themselves, not Berkley Co. Deputy material, but not too bad...
